As Pants the Hart Falmouth April 2017
Schola concert: As Pants the Hart.
Featuring Bach's poignant aria from Cantata 42, rarely performed chromatic harmonies by Lassus and Gesualdo and a radiant five part setting of the famous 'Ave Maria' by Palestrina. The second half of the concert features Handel's Chandos Anthem Number 6, 'As pants the hart.' The anthem features a vigorous opening sinfonia and heartfelt arias and duets.
Pre-concert talk at 3:30 PM.
Due to seating limitations, advance ticket purchases are strongly encouraged for the Falmouth Concert to ensure you are guaranteed a seat. We cannot guarantee tickets being available the day of the concert if there are no more seats in the venue.
Seating is first come first serve, arrive early for best seating options.
Ticket sales will end 4 hours prior to concert start time. After that, tickets will be available at the door.
