Braiding Wisdom Winter Series: Water Stories - Finding the stories that Change Leaders, Edge Wrokers and Wayfinders need to tell
The elemental stories we may be more familiar with are fire stories....stories of achievement and outward success.
Water stories are inner journeys. Water stories are about going deep and paying attention to flow.
If you are a change maker, edge worker, wayfinder....you need to grow your ability to work creatively and intentionally with story.
This session is a story sandbox. We'll explore practices that are easy to use and have the potential to create space for deeper ways of being in the world.
We all have the power to shape our individual and collective stories. Come explore the power and practice of story.
"Your voice is the wildest thing you own." (Terry Tempest Williams)
This session is inspired by Brene Brown, Jim May and the Water Protectors at Standing Rock.
Julie Swanson is a StoryPreneur and Emergent Learning Designer. She has over 25 years of experience in adult learning, communications and community health. She is currently the owner of What's Possible Now, where she partners with people and organizations who want to work with story intentionally, creatively, and courageously to create healthy, resilient communities.
