Free Talk at the DMA: How to Transform Your Life
ENJOY A DAY OUT AT THE DMA! Enjoy a free talk and meditation with American Buddhist Monk Gen-la Kelsang Jampa. Delicious lunches are available in the museums cafe or just across the street from the many food trucks at Klyde Warren Park. Free self-guided audio tours of the Asian Art Collection will be available before and after the talk. Join us for this annual special event!
ABOUT THE TALK If we learn to transform our mind through meditation, then we can transform our life. Everybody needs to be good-natured with a good heart, because then we can solve our own problems as well as those of others, and we can make our human life happy and meaningful.
Recently returning from teaching in Australia and Asia, Gen-la Kelsang Jampa will give this free talk and meditation based on the free e-book of the same title.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER Gen-la Kelsang Jampa is an international teacher of Kadampa Buddhism. He is the Deputy Spiritual Director of the NKT-IKBU and Resident Teacher of KMC Texas.
Gen-la is well-loved for his clear and inspiring teachings, and his ability to touch peoples hearts through his sincerity and loving-kindness.
