Pale Monsters with Magen Tracy & The Missed Connections

Pale Monsters is a Boston-based independent rock band. It is a creative project started by singer/guitarist Chris Mulvey. After years of writing and performing music, Mulvey asked friends and long-time Boston musicians Travis Richter, Mike Ward and Kevin McGrath to help him realize a new creative vision.

Late nights writing songs in a bedroom turned into late nights with the band in the studio, as Pale Monsters embarked on a mission to find their own unique voice. Inspired by art rock of the past, such as David Bowie, Radiohead and Nick Cave, Pale Monsters attempts to occupy a space that is both bright and dark, but still rock and roll.

A veteran of both the New England singer-songwriter circuit and the Boston rock scene, indie-folk songstress Magen Tracy brought her bittersweet ballads and fierce anthems center stage in 2015 with the release of her first EP, Fiercely. Since then shes been playing live and breaking hearts with her band, The Missed Connections, combining soulful vocals, poignant songwriting, and piano-driven rock with a strong dash of sleazy swagger and alt-country twang.
