Join us on Sunday January 29, 2017 for our Heart Circle Retreat: Energy and Inspiration for the New Year, to explore and energize your whole being in this creative and visionary retreat! The day weaves together to celebrate your strength and help you chart your way forward during this time of significant change, and open pathways to new insights and awareness that will help you love the story of your life.
Like a sailor taking three bearings at sea to chart a course, youll delve into three creative strategies, ground where you are, and dream big with fellow travelers to support you. Let's get our bearings together in a daylong retreat where mind, body and spirit come together as we join in community. We will weave mindful and creative fiber art, writing, and ritual. This day of sacred play will help you shift into the flow of your authentic life, and charge your batteries for the year to come.
Lisa Jacenich begins the day with total submersion in texture and color by leading us through the creation of our own Sacred Cloth, a heritage skill and tactile meditation. You will create a beautiful altar cloth with a focused intention through the ancient art of felt-making.
Storyweaving writing journeys with Carol Burbank will help you claim your power so you free yourself from self-sabotaging beliefs and stories, and find your calling in the world. Youll learn techniques to shift and play with your story through journal writing, creative writing, and improvisation.
Finally, integrate your insights in the heart opening ritual of the Sacred Cacao ceremony with Christel Libiot and Jim Wert. Cacao, the superfood fruit of the wild Criollo trees in the rainforest, has a high vibration and spiritual potency, helping restore the harmony of humanity and nature, and offering a relaxing invitation to ground your spiritual journey and send you home integrated and ready to celebrate.

Location: Bridge Between the Worlds, near Charlotesville, VA is a center for powerful pathways to healing, restoration, and connection with essence of spirit, nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The 20-acre site is hidden in the woods by a lake, offering many ways to enjoy and connect with the natural world.
Internationally recognized fiber artist, Lisa Jacenich is the owner of Artful Gifts LLC in Staunton, Virginia. She became interested in wool because it is not only an abundant, sustainable, under-utilized, environmentally sound resource but also wool has healing properties. Her studies of these fibers have taken her around the world. Her personal knowledge and experience led to an invitation by the Mongolian Government to assist them in creating womens cooperatives. Lisa creates textiles from the raw fibers of silk and the finest wool. These one-of-a-kind fabrics are then fashioned into unique designs of health aids, clothing, accessories and interior decor. She leads mindfulness workshops incorporating spiritual traditions and ceremonies from indigenous cultures. She guides celebrants through the creative process as the fibers respond to human touch shaping and morphing into something that is both tamed and untamed, of the spirit, the mind, the body and the earth. Carol Burbank, Ph.D. is a published author, writing mentor, life coach, energy healer and teacher. She developed Storyweaving to support playful and healthy change. "Storyweaving integrates all the wisdom Ive gained in my journey to service. It feeds the writers heart and supports creative work, teaches sustainable strategies for change with a sense of play and curiosity. Its a practical application of my Ph.D. research in the complex but vital processes of cultural and individual change. It clarifies peoples vision, so they can be more authentic leaders and sustain their energy. Finally, it celebrates the connection of mind, body, and spirit from Hawaiian traditions, CST, and Reiki strategies. Sacred Cacao Ceremony is offered by Christel Libiot and Jim Wert, both with vast experience and knowledge in the healing arts! Christel is an energy healer, spiritual life coach, mentor and Modern Day Priestess, in service of the Divine that she sees and honors in all Beings. She has been leading workshops and Sacred Circles for the past 15 years in the US and Europe. Jims life mission is to support the awakening and empowering of the Divine Feminine energies in all people and the culture. Following a career in the government, he has been initiated as a Modern Day Alchemist by the Institute of Modern Wisdom, a mystery school dedicated to furthering ancient wisdom ways and modern spiritual technologies.
