Originally based in Huntington Beach, CA, (Hed) p.e. was founded in 1994 by frontman Jahred, whose goal was to fuse the region's long-standing punk rock heritage with G-funk-inflected hip-hop. He was shortly joined by bassist Mark who has remained alongside the band until present day. The line up is currently rounded out by guitarist Jaxon and drummer Trauma.

(Hed)p.e was snatched up by Jive Records early in its career, but it wasn't until the year 2000 when they released the album "broke" that they received mainstream success. It was this album that solidified them as a mainstay in the rock and metal community.

(Hed)p.e. released its third album "Blackout" in 2003 which continues to be their most successful album to date. The group is infamous for changing the image and style of the band and music from release to release. Infusing moments of punk, metal, rap, reggae, and rock into their very eclectic yet precise sound.

Many have asked what the name (Hed) p.e. means and stands for. According to vocalist Jahred, "The name (Hed) p.e. is a name I came up with which basically means our consciousness is connected to the planet and the planet is evolving, therefore, we as her children, evolve with her. The "p.e." originally was defined as PLANETARY EVOLUTION, and sometimes morphs to PLANET EARTH and back, but both carry the same message, the (Hed) is the symbol for consciousness. WE ARE ON THE MOTHERSHIP!"

Despite many bands and peers from their genre, (Hed)p.e. has never taken a break from releasing albums and touring, which has enabled them to survive and meet with very strong independent success over the years. As a member that has been with the band from inception, bassist Mark attributes this to a passion for music and for playing in (Hed)p.e. for over 2 decades. "I moved from NewCastle England to pursue music in the United States and have never looked back." says Mark. "Our goal is to be a band that can connect with fans for decades to come, much like bands like the Rolling Stones have been able to do for over four generations of music."

Motograter was formed in 1995 and is most well known for their namesake instrument the Motograter, a mysterious contraption designed with industrial cable, guitar pieces, and other components, to create a unique, low, distorted bass sound. The band is widely known for their image, notorious for covering themselves in tribal style body paint. The early stages of the groups career consisted of heavy experimentation with industrial sounds, samples, and tribal drums. The band released two EPs Hugh Chardon and Indy and in 2001 were signed to Sever Records, founded by Dez Fafara of Coal Chamber. The bands sound continued to evolve, eventually incorporating a dark, groove-oriented guitar styling, that would help broaden the bands appeal and reach a wider audience. In 2003, the band inked a deal with No Name/Elektra Records and released the highly acclaimed. self-titled album, Motograter, featuring Ivan Moody (Five Finger Death Punch/Ghost Machine) on vocals. The song Suffocate was featured on the soundtrack to the film The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The song Down is featured on the EA Sports video game Nascar Thunder 2004. Motograter toured on Ozzfest 2003. Motograter has toured with Ozzy Osbourne, Korn, Marilyn Manson, Chevelle, Disturbed, Ministry, Nothingface, Kittie, Mushroomhead, Cradle of Filth, Killswitch Engage, Chimaira, Shadows Fall, Voivod, and many more.

Traitors Gate hails from Boise, Idaho. the band consists of members of previously successful regional bands: Ken Mansfield, guitarist from Gypsy Saints, Tim Allen on drums from Brutal Season, Colby Dees, bassist from Vault 7, and their lead vocalist whom they affectionately call "Mister 'Y".

Four definitely strong personalities make up this band which draws on its varied creative backgrounds when writing the powerful and edgy material that can only be Traitors Gate.

The band incorporates its metal, heavy rock, punk and technical influences to create both a visual and sonic experience which they are bringing to Boise and the surrounding areas this year.

A recently completed demo solidified the Traitors Gate sound.

Shortly after Traitors Gate's debut they won the 2016 XFest Battle of the Bands, and opened 100.3's XFest. This outdoor concert featured Breaking Benjamin, Saint Asonia, Avatar, Shaman's Harvest, and Stitched Up Heart. A tremendous buzz has started about Traitors Gate. Look for them to come to a venue near you soon!
