Whew--4 years in the making, 20 years in the creating, 54 years in the preparing, and my first studio-produced album is finally complete!!! Words simply cannot express the sense of gratitude, wonder, accomplishment and relief that I feel as this project--my 50th Birthday present to myself--comes to fruition!
After a sold-out Album Release at Nissi's in November, we've decided to do it again at Shine--an Encore Performance! My sincere hope is that you will join me on this special night, when my amazing band and I will be playing the album in its entirety--all nine of the soul-stirring, hip-shaking, heart-opening, thought-provoking songs that we've been recording together all this time!
Not only that, but my dear friends and colleagues, Spirit Rising (Rachel and Rich Harrison, Vicki and Steve Larson, Pete Jacobs and Kev McQueen), will be along for the ride, sharing their own brand of original, uplifting pop/rock/blues, as will be the ladies Spirit Voices. Global Soul Experience will be ending the night with a set of smokin' hot funk, soul and world dance music!
