The December Parlor of Mystery show is unlike most Parlor of Mystery shows. It is a special show tailored for the whole family and features magic and comedy children of all ages will enjoy and by Thaddeus and The Silly Magician, Mike Maione.
Thaddeus has been performing in Long Island theaters for over 30 years as an actor and a magician. He regularly travels to schools and libraries with his educational magic shows and has performed his original show, Story Time Magic, for thousands of children. Thaddeus annually performs his one-man magic show at the Dix Hills Performing Arts Center to raves. With wife Debbie, Thaddeus started and runs the South Shore Theatre Experience, a non-profit organization that produces original works and theatre classics as well as conducting acting classes & workshops. Thaddeus is also one of the originators of the The Parlor of Mystery and often produces and emcees Parlor of Mystery shows.
Mike Maione is Long Island's silliest magician, a role he's played for over 25 years. Hundreds of kids have celebrated birthdays and other special occasions with magic performed by The Silly Magician. Always the consummate family entertainer, Mike can find the funny bone on anyone. His crazy antics always get even the grumpiest geezer giggling and having fun. While performing for kids is a specialty for Mike, he is equally at home performing for adults, a passion that led to the creation of The Parlor of Mystery. Mike is both a producer and emcee a many Parlor shows and is especially happy to be part of the Parlors Ultimate Family Magic Show, which is guaranteed to be have everyone in the family laughing themselves silly.
The Parlor of Mysterys home is the South Shore Theatre Experience in Lindenhurst. Its the perfect place to experience parlor and close-up magic. It is small black box theatre with comfortable tiered seating for 45. The Parlor of Mystery is one of many productions that take place at the South Shore Theatre Experience, which is located at 315 West Montauk Highway in Lindenhurst. The Parlor of Mystery is a monthly parlor magic show where magic is performed that does not require expensive, large-scale stage equipment. It is magic performed close to the audience and without a stage. The setting and the magic are intimate.

Parlor of Mystery shows take place on the fourth Sunday of every month with different magicians performing different effects.
