Giulio Cesare in Egitto by G.F. Handel
At its premiere in 1724, George Frideric Handel's "Giulio Cesare" was met with unparalleled exuberance at the King's Theatre in London. The Handel Opera Project invites you to visit for a compelling evening of dramma per musica at its finest, featuring favorite arias such as "Va tacito e nascosto," "V'adoro, pupille," and "PiangerĂ² la sorte mia." Recitatives will be replaced with English dialogue. William Ludtke will be conducting The Handel Opera Project's chamber orchestra and the following stellar performers:
