We invite you to start 2017 planting seeds of light and setting intentions for the new year. We will chant clarifying mantras with the Tibetan bowls. We will sit in stillness and peace. We will do Chi Gung energy exercises.

Tibetan bowls are from an ancient Himalayan healing tradition. Their sonic resonance is an emanation of the Vajra or pure radiant diamond light of Tibetan Buddhism. The Vajra clears the mind of perceptions that obscure the awakened nature: our pure light essence and omniscient awareness.
The energy of the Vajra is very similar to that of the Sanskrit Gayatri Mantra both are invocations of purification by the highest light. As a special offering, we will have an introduction to the Gayatri by Richii Jai and then chant it together with Tibetan bowls.

Bring: meditation cushion, paper to write on, crystals or other sacred tools. We will provide warm tea and snacks.
