Porchfest Goes Indoors with Muddy Ruckus and Gin Daisy
Porchfest Goes Indoors opens a three-concert series on January 7 with Muddy Ruckus from Portland, Maine, and Boston-area band Gin Daisy playing original and classic Americana music.

The quartet Gin Daisy describes its bluegrass/swing music as "a cocktail of Americana that's behind the times by about 100 years." Band members bring banjo, flute, guitar, vocals, fiddle, mandolin, and bodhran into the mix. Muddy Ruckus aims for a full rock band sound, spicing its guitar and percussion with "the mud of the Mississippi River where I grew up," according to band member Ryan Flaherty.

Porchfest Goes Indoors will continue in February and March:

February 18 at ACA with singer/songwriters Ari Hest, Chrissi Poland, and Dean Stevens.

March 25 at ACA featuring Rosmere Road, Le Prestige, and FBGM.

Tickets for each concert are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.

SPECIAL SEASON TICKET DISCOUNT: Buy one ticket now to each Porchfest concert, add the Bluesapocalypse on April 15, and get all four music shows for $80. Offer only available in December 2016. (The Bluesapocalypse, at Arlington Town Hall, regularly costs $25 in advance, $30 at the door. More info at http://www.acarts.org/bluesapocalypse.)

Proceeds from all the concerts will be donated to the Arlington Center for the Arts (ACA) Future Fund. The vibrant community arts center needs to move out of its home of 27 years and is raising money to renovate a new space in Arlington Center. Your ticket helps ACA keep providing classes, camps and a supportive arts space for all ages
