ABOUT JEFF GERBINO...
Jeff has appeared on HBO, SHOWTIME and COMEDY CENTRAL. He has won "the L.A Professional Standup
Comedian Contest" hosted by Jay Leno and"The Twin Cities Laff-off" Twice!

"Jeff Gerbino is very funny! But not as funny as I am."  Al Franken

Jeff Gerbino' starts with over twenty years of comedy experience and combines it with global concert appearances, national television credits ,and appearances on Good Morning America, Arts and Entertainment and Comedy Central.

As the winner of the Twin Cities Laff-Off and first runner-up in the Los Angeles Professional Comedian Contest, Jeff has proven that he can get laughs anywhere and anytime.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press called Jeff the "founding father" of the Twin Cities comedy scene as Mickey Finn's quickly became "the place to be" on Friday and Saturday nights. Comics such as Louie Anderson, Jeff Cesario, Stephanie Hodge, Joel Hodgson and Scott Hansen all got their starts there.

In the 1980's, after developing his trademark combination of political impersonations and current event material, Jeff headed to Los Angeles. Jeff was a finalist in the Los Angeles Comedy Contest hosted by Jay Leno and was chosen as one of Hollywood's hottest new comedy stars by the L.A. Weekly.

Jeff quickly became a nationally touring headliner at clubs all over the US. He made numerous appearances on national TV including CBS Morning Show, HBO's Comic Relief, A&E's Comedy On The Road

THE STAGEBENDER

Gust Alexander and Kim Thomassen bill themselves with the playful moniker "The Stagebenders." They are two junior high school buddies from Minneapolis that cracked up all of their friends. They are now America's funniest comedy duo and play to sellout audiences at concerts, comedy clubs and colleges from coast to coast. They are the only national performers to ever win the "MTV Comedy Challenge" twice in a row!

Kim Thomassen and Gust Alexander  love to make people laugh. The St. Paul Pioneer Press has called them, "The Abbot and Costello for the new millennium!"  The Stagebenders' act is a nonstop, fast-paced hurricane of interactive comedy that has to be experienced to be believed. The Minneapolis StarTribune has called them, "The Prince of Banter and the Prince of Glib."

After fifteen years, their act has been honed to perfection. Once they whip their audience into a comedy frenzy, no other comic dares perform after them. The Los Angeles Times has said this about the comedy twosome: "With a honed ability to play off of each other as well as the audience, the Stagebenders have mastered the art of improvisation!"

Diehard fans include Geena Davis, The Kinks and the legendary Budd Friedman ( the Stagebenders headline regularly at "Improvs" all over the United States) who has been quoted as saying that, " The Stagebenders are my biggest find!"
