Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol
WatermelonAlligator is pleased to announce a one-night only production of Charles Dickens beloved holiday classic, A Christmas Carol! This family favorite will be performed at 3pm and 7pm on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the Bryantville United Methodist Church, 546 Mattakeesett Street, Pembroke, MA 02359.
This heartwarming tale of reflection and redemption will be presented in an original adaption in the style of an old-time radio play, complete with live sound effects and a myriad of talented local actors bringing this familiar tale to life. This original script was adapted by WatermelonAlligator Theatre Companys own Jess Wilson and has been recently heard live on WATD for the past several holiday seasons (with many of the same actors featured in this production!).
This production of Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol is directed by Garrett Olson of Pembroke. Olson, the Technical Director of WatermelonAlligator Theatre Company, is a familiar face to local audiences, having just appeared in both of WATCs tours for How To Survive A Zombie Apocalypse. He is also a lay leader at the Bryantville United Methodist Church, where the show will be performed. Anastasia OBrien of Whitman will stage manage the production. OBrien is also a familiar face, having years of film and theatre appearances to her credit.
The cast for this production features many talented local actors including Randall Fink of Abington; Stephanie Clark of Mattapoisett; Victoria Smith of Mashpee; Dennis Lewoczko of Middleboro; Garrett Olson and Harmonie Olson of Pembroke; Kasey Bishoff, Bill Driscoll and Victoria Rice of Plymouth; and Anastasia OBrien of Whitman.
The production will run for two shows on December 3, 2016 at 3pm and 7pm at the Bryantville United Methodist Church, 546 Mattakeesett Street, Pembroke, MA 02359. Tickets are $15 general admission or take advantage of our family four-pack discount of 4 tickets for only $50 (all four tickets must be purchased at once for discount to apply).
Doors will open thirty minutes before the show begins and all seating is general admission; first come, first served. Tickets are available online for both showtimes a link is live on our facebook page: facebook.com/watermelonalligator. If there are any tickets remaining for a particular show, they will be on sale at the door thirty minutes prior to showtime.
