Pamela Trokanski presents The Nutcracker - A Contemporary Coming of Age
Join the PTDT, the Apprentice Company, The Third Stage and guest dancers, as they present this year's "Alternative" Nutcracker. For those of you who might be tired of the sugar high of a traditional Nutcracker, come enter our Clara's world of growing up with today's cultural influences. Whereas the traditional Clara is escorted off to China and Arabia, and the Land of Sweets, under the auspices of a Prince...last year, our Clara was visited by the Kardashians, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, the undying Barbie, the Black Widow Avenger, and Taylor Swift...and rescued by a wild cat....This year, who knows?
Importantly, this 40 minute Nutcracker is fun for the whole family, and still leaves you plenty of time to do holiday shopping!
