Get Organized! with Robin Schwartz
Get Organized! with Robin Schwartz, a workshop for everyone who works with paper and a computer. TBA in March from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon in the Borg Warner Room of the Tompkins County Public Library, E Green St at S Cayuga St, Ithaca. Fee $70 includes nutritious snacks and drinks.
Does your desk have a tiny cleared space in the middle with the rest covered in papers?
Are your drawers jam packed with files from your predecessor's predecessor?
Help is on the way!
Just as an organized kitchen helps you enjoy cooking, an organized desk and email will make your job much easier and make it more pleasant to arrive at work each morning. And once you have become organized maintaining new systems can take less than five minutes a day.
In this session Robin will show you how to
Set up a system for organizing incoming paper (so it doesnt end up in piles)
Organize the contents of your desk (and discuss what to get rid of)
De-clutter paper
Tackle a large backlog of old paperwork
Set up functional filing systems for paper and electronic documents
Cancellation policy: All registration purchases are final. At times a workshop may be cancelled due to inclement weather or other issues. If this occurs, we will post the cancellation on our website, email all registered participants, and refund any prepaid fees. If you plan to walk-in, please check our website for the most up-to-date information prior to attending.
Limited scholarships are available for non-profit board and staff members who cannot attend without one. To request a scholarship, email: registration@hsctc.org in advance of the workshop.
