What Happens in Your Brain If You See a German Word Like (SCR Zora Rux/Fred Burle, DIR Zora Rux. GERMANY, 2015, color, 5:00.) Comedy, experimental animation. German has very long words because you can simply string them together without limits! As our bald man reads one of these extremely long words, going goes deeper and deeper into its meaning to fully grasp it, we use a variety of tricks, models and animation to portray his mental process. 5 Minutes of Your Time (SCR/DIR Didi Lubetzky, ISRAEL, 2016, color, 9:00.) Comedy. Iran has launched a nuclear missile at Tel Aviv, and now everyone has 5 minutes remaining to make peace with their God. Itai wants to make peace with his ex. With the clock ticking fast, he is about to learn that past relationships can have more fallout than a nuclear holocaust. (In Hebrew with English subtitles)

The white-on-black animation in this comic short works like an X-ray, portraying the interplay of our inner being and outer being caught between the boundless desires of our spirit and the sobering limits of our bodies, expressed through the interaction of couple. Do we live with real people, or only with who we imagine them to be? (US premiere)
Might (SCR/DIR Emil Sallinen, FINLAND, 2016, color, 09:00.) Futuristic science fiction. Maryam, a rebel leader in an archaic world of the future governed by ruthless religion, is determined to prove that the huge metallic object hovering in the sky is not a god as the priesthood claims. During a mission she runs into a holy warrior, her long-lost father Thesus, who abandoned her as a child. Theyll soon be forced to face each other, change their lives and reveal a secret only a god can keep. (New York City premiere).
Catracholandia (DIR/SCR Santos Orellana. HONDURAS, 2015, color, 51:05). Santos Orellana, a Honduran artist based in San Diego, returns home to shoot a documentary of him seeking out an orphanage to paint a mural. While he admits landing in as Catholic a country as Honduras right before Easter might be bad planning, in the process he gets his father back, and a renewed sense of mission. (In Spanish with English subtitles. Special New York audience preview).
