A burlesque tribute to Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries
You are cordially invited to join Mrs. Prudence Elizabeth Stanley at the historic Rendezvous Jewelbox Theater for an evening of lectures dedicated to the Womens Hospital of Melbourne. While Mrs. Stanley cannot guarantee her relation, the Honorable Miss Fishnet, will be attendance, your host will most certainly become distracted from the fundraising goals of the evening to enlighten her guests with stories of her utterly unladylike niece. What could possibly go wrong?
Immerse yourself in an evening inspired by Miss Fishers Murder Mysteries with this burlesque-focused tribute to our favorite glamorous 1920s private detective. We suggest you arrive early and dressed to the nines to the Rendezvous, established in 1926, to enjoy a delicious supper and classic cocktails. Then join us in the intimate Jewelbox theater for a burlesque revue with acts inspired by our new favorite flirtatious Australian leading lady and her friends. The cast and crew want to remind you that anyone can be a Miss Fisher: fierce, feminist and empowered by your own sexuality.
Please ensure you are purchasing tickets for time you intend: there are two shows in one night. Due to the nature of the venue, we cannot guarantee seating for those who arrive late or for the incorrect show.
Dates: Jan 26th and 27th
Location: Jewelbox Theater at the Rendezvous
Time: Curtain at 7pm and 10pm. Doors at 6:30pm and 9:30pm.
Cost: Advance GA Tickets $20, Advance VIP $40. Day of show: $25 and $45
