We want to invite all Electronic Music DJ's/Producers to come participate in our 1st Ever Pulse Nation Progressive DJ Competition. Our goal is to shine the light on your skills. We will have Promoters & Bar/Club Managers in attendance, so you never know what can happen! Come out and show us your sklills. This is a Drug Free Family Friendly Event. So keep it PLUR

Ybor City Barbering Company has now opened their very own Beer and Wine Bar. Amazing drinks, great DJs and a relaxing atmosphere where everyone is welcome
YOUR PLACE TO GO TO ENOY YOUR SUNDAY, RECOVER FROM SATURDAY, & SIP ON BEER AND COCKTAILS WHILE LISTENING TO THE BEST IN A VARIETY OF CHILL AND ELECTRONIC MUSIC.
FOR THAT TASTE OF Chill-out music, HOUSE MUSIC, Trance music, BREAKS, PSY, & MORE.
POOL TABLE, VIDEO GAMES, FOOSBALL, COMFY COUCHES TO CHILL, MULTIPLE TV'S, AND AN OUTDOOR BACK PATIO TO SOAK UP THE SUN AND JAM TO AWESOME GROOVES.

EVENT RULES:
1. No walk-up DJ's allowed.
2. Competing DJ's Must Bring 3-5 People with them as fans/followers to participate or pay $5 entry fee
3. DJ's that are managed or represented by a 3rd party and/or management company are not allowed to compete. This is an opportunity for locals and ground floor DJ's to get exposure. DJ's will be diqualified if this applies to them.

(Please upload only to Soundcloud or MixCrate, mixes submitted from elsewhere will not be considered.)
4. All music & mixes must be of the Electronic Music Genre & Sub Genres. No Top 40/Rock/Rap/Hip-Hop or other NON -Electronic Music
(While we love all music, but the theme for this event is to promote the Electronic Music Scene.)
5. All Submitted mixes for review must be of your own effort. If you are a Duo, please express that in your application.
6. Equipment provided for competition:
- (2) Pioneer XDJ-1000 Units
- (1) Numark M6 Mixer (No built in effects, we want to hear YOUR skills)
7. No other equipment is allowed. We do not have issues with these items as we all use them, but no laptops, controllers, or external peripherals. this is to make the event move smoother & to put every DJ on the same plane. We suggest you research the provided equipment to get a better feel for it.
8. We will be broadcasting event live on Facebook and possibly other hosts. If you would like to do a live broadcast of your own, you must show up early to discuss. we do not want people walking in front of the DJ table recording, it distracts from the DJ and the audience. Contact us for more info.
