Beef Forequarter Demonstration
Join the Rose's MM & SS team in a relaxed evening of bovine education. Class members will watch as we break down a forequarter of beef. The forequarter of the beef is one of the most interesting sections of the beef carcass as it contains a lot of value added cuts not known to many grocery stores. It is definitely one of the most flavorful parts of the animal as well. As we break down the beef we'll go over the different cuts, how best to utilize them and how to cook them.
Some examples of what we will cover are:
Lesser known steak cuts from the Chuck
Grinding techniques/ trim utilization
Utilization of muscles that aren't best used for steaks
and many more!
This is a great opportunity for chefs, farmers and home cooks to gain new knowledge of all things beef! Libations and meat snacks will also be served at the start of the class. Participants will leave with approximately 5 pounds of meat including Steaks, Fresh Grind, Stew beef and whatever else we harvest from the Forequarter.
Important! Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received at least 48 hours before start of class will receive a full a full refund. Cancellations received after the 48 hour period will receive a 50 percent refund. Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the event will receive a 25% refund. We reserve the right to postpone or cancel due to lack of attendance.
