TEACHER BIO: Alexandria Nichandros (www.facebook.com/ClickYourHeelsEvents) is a body-positive, queer, leather, married, poly, switch, flirt, femme-nomenon. For 18+ years shes been teaching, performing, and choreographing all sorts of movement. You can see her ever experimental erotic performance work on the Debauchery stage at The White Horse in Oakland, every third Sunday. Her favorite things include teaching private lessons, sleeping, and Sade. Through her company Click Your Heels she fulfills her clients every desire for intimate gatherings, benefits, weddings, and more from the simple to the sublime.
WHAT TO WEAR? layers! basically you need two outfits, one that goes over the other. MORE clothes for warm up and floorwork, LESS clothes for pole work. (why? Many pole moves require skin-to-pole contact, such as ankles, shins, knees, upper UPPER thighs, shoulders, etc. However for floorwork we generally want fabric-to-floor not skin to floor.) examples of MORE clothes: Leggings, yoga pants, sweat pants, leg warmers, t shirts, hoodies, socks examples of LESS clothes: one or two piece swim suits, booty shorts, wrestling shorts, running shorts, bras/sports bras, leg warmers, hoodies, t shirts, tank tops For the floorwork you may wish to have kneepads but they are not required. You may find that your GLASSES are cumbersome, so if you can wear your contacts or leave your glasses in your purse, that is for the best. High Heels are not required but they are always welcome. (No other shoes are permitted.) Please wash the soles with soap and water before class unless they have never been worn outside.
