Southside Ignoramous Quartet Comedy Tent Show 2016!
SIQ 2016!!!
Chicago's only theater tent. SIQ tackle issues with their irreverent treatment in a 60-minute episodic comedy show. Unlike sketch fare occurring at improv/sketch mega-theaters, SIQ keeps it real by staging laughs in a Theater Tent in a Pilsen backyard. Audience members get their "in yo' face" comedy with the help of the tent's bar, SIQ juice and resident deejay Chris Pipcraz!
Opening Acts:
October 14: Jackie Herrera
October 21: Raymond Bruce Birkett III
October 28: Jessica Bell
November 4: Jaime DeLeon
"Their scenes range from a delightfully immature pillowcase becomes foreskin, a mouth an [;;;;explicit word describing a body part];;;;to laugh-so-you-don't-cry: 18th Street turns into a Sesame Street nightmare of gentrification." -The Reader
"Ta gueno!" -David Pintor's mom
"If you enjoy the loose vibe at Second City shows the cocktail-lounge atmosphere, the audience-performer interaction then you might just love the shows being produced in a Pilsen backyard by the Southside Ignoramus Quartet (SIQ)..." -New City
