HEATONIST 2nd Annual Hatch Chile Roast - SUN 10/23
Autumn is harvest season in the Hatch Valley of New Mexico, a region know far and wide for the chilis produced by its unique terroir. We've got 50 lbs of primo Hatch green on the way to NYC, and you're invited to celebrate. We'll have the roaster fired-up in the garden, turning the heartiest peppers of the Southwest into tasty morsels of citric, smoky and (somewhat) spicy goodness, just ready to be married to cotija cheese and stuffed into a tortilla fresh from the grill. We only do it once a year - don't miss out.
In addition we'll be serving up a hearty autumn chili and washing it all down with cold beer, a hot cocktail, and something sweet for dessert.
Ticket includes the entire experience.
Our annual chile roast is made possible thanks to Jon Bratton and the NYC Hot Sauce Co. The legend himself will be manning the roaster, so be sure to say hi.
