10:40am: SESSION 1  INNOVATION AND SOLUTIONS: The most innovative garment and textile companies are developing new practices in every aspect of their supply chain. True innovation creates solutions for not only the impacts and issues we currently see, but also moves us into the future by thinking ahead to possible impacts. This session will discuss examples of sustainable fashion innovation and challenge us to envision solutions for the future.

11:40am: SESSION 2  THREADING SUSTAINABILITY AWARENESS: Social movements happen when people share a common vision, that's why some brands are making their closed-loop and environmental efforts public. By threading sustainability awareness into their mission, our panelists not only educate consumers on real issues but have fun doing it and challenge the industry to question what the new standard is. This session will showcase how to create a community of conscious shoppers and ways to get creative when talking about your sustainability initiatives.

Nancy Judd, Owner, Recycle Runway

1:00pm: SESSION 3  VALUE VILLAGE RETHINK REUSE: Getting the public to recycle and reuse clothing remains a challenge, despite efforts across the region to do so. Given the significant, positive environmental impact that could be achieved from wider adoption of these practices, more must be done to achieve lasting behavior change. This panel presentation will highlight successes in communicating about the importance of reuse and recycling and explore what has, and has not, worked to drive real and lasting behavior change among the general public.
