Vixens Reign Promotions Presents Chemical Burn
Chemical Burn craft pulverizing metal, packed with blistering riffs and hammering groove. This crushing brew of heaviness is captured with the Bay Area thrashers forthcoming album Raining Anvils, released on August 7 via MegaSonic.

Chemical Burn enlisted famed producer Juan Urteaga (Testament, Machine Head, Exodus) to oversee production of Raining Anvils at Oaklands JingleTown Studios. We poured all we had into making these songs just right, declares Chemical Burns Mike Garnica (vocals/bass). Every part was written with the intent to set the world on fire. Then we took them to Juan and he dumped jet fuel on them.

Having cut his teeth as a tech for the likes of Laaz Rocket and Dragonlord, Garnica formed the current formation of Chemical Burn with Kevin Jackson, an acclaimed drummer whos toured with Primer 55 and many others. Rounding out Chemical Burn is Bay Area shredder Marc Pattison, formerly of Circle II Circle. Kev and I were instantly on the same page when it came to the writing process, explains Garnica. If a song doesnt light us both up, we go back to the drawing board with it. Eventually a light bulb goes off and it all comes together in a way that stokes the hell out of us.

Behind the bands annihilating approach to metal is a message of finding strength amidst lifes obstacles. Its not necessarily just drugs and alcohol, but our day-to-day obsessions, relationships, the drama we get involved in and the emotions we feel from it, explains Garnica. A lot of the album is about a journey through a mentality that has gone from a rock bottom of sorts, to a rebirth and new course in life.
Kirra is a rock and roll band based out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with a strong emphasis on the word Rock meaning Straight up and raw as guitarist Daxton Page puts it when referring to their new upcoming debut album titled Run Away. Some of the bands influences range from Chevelle, Tool, Five Finger Death Punch, Seether, or simply stated, Rock Music in general.

The band was created when guitarist Daxton Page left a rock school program and was interested in starting a band. Through friends of friends, I met Zach. We jammed a few times but we were looking for a bassist/singer. After a few weeks of searching, Ryne answered our ad and told us he had a friend Jesse who could sing and play guitar. During our first practice we wrote "Drown" off our EP.

The EP Sounds from an Empty Room which was released digitally included the song called Downfall that immediately grabbed the attention of internet radio and social media fans. Shortly after, the band decided to continue writing for an album as lead singer Jesse Williamson recalls. At the beginning we were just writing machines and still are, we write as often as we can whether it's riffs, chorus ideas, breakdowns, etc. We just like to constantly be writing and we had had these songs for a while and figured we should record them.

Having music as the bands release, Run Away (available January 24, 2015) has a little of everything in it lyrically, but more specific is the statement they wanted to make musically. We wanted to make a statement about overproduction in the rock world today Daxton mentions. We used 0% click-tracks, and wanted to make this as raw as we possibly could. I feel Run Away album is a direct reflection of where we are musically and mentally and we are excited about it.

Kirras first live performance show was with Freddy Salazar and his band, and not long after they found themselves being invited to open for such acts as 3 Doors Down, Primer 55, Screaming for Silence, Saving Able, and Kill Devil Hill with new invitations on the horizon with such bands as Puddle of Mudd and venues like House of Blues in Hollywood, CA. The people that are fans have always treated us well at shows, and even people that have never seen us before usually end up liking us. Which is great to know that there are still fans of rock music that isn't extreme/death/black metal.

It's true no matter what Gene Simmons or anyone says. Rock is NOT dead.

The story begins with the doctor of destruction... Doc Vegas! He spent his entire life in search of the truest form of metal! While quenching his tenacious thirst for sin, he found the one known as the Medicine Man, an entity not of this world. His hands and feet moved faster than any creature to walk this earth. They decided to form a band that would shake the very core of this planet. They looked for many years to find a voice that would rival the power of their sound with no luck. They came to the conclusion that this was non-existent in this realm. They delve into the depths of hell where they met the Heathen Skip, with screams and growls like that of a wicked demon, shaking stalactites from their hold. The three escaped from hell to start the journey to find the fourth. They threw themselves into the area of the "proving bounds" spreading the name of Perpetual Dementia. When the search seemed hopeless, they came across a somatic guitarist. He had traveled far and wide for something more, and felt defeated at every turn. Doc Vegas showed him the way of the 8 string. With this new found enlightenment, he burst into a bright, scorching light. As the light faded, a shadowy figure emerged and spoke; "I am Siva, and we are Perpetual Dementia!"

Reigning from Boise Idaho, Splattered Throat is a Deththrash band bent on creating aggressive, disturbing, and violent music. Each member brings a unique aspect to the formula that is Splattered Throat. Playing in a garage doing songs from their earlier bands, the band was formed by Ken Nelson (drums), and Rob Legg (guitar). Soon the two were quickly able to acquire a singer with Raider Dean (vocals). Since that time, the Splattered sound was born. Quickly writing music for the intention of being able to play shows and getting their name out, Tiny Pieces was born. Combining elements of their influences, they recorded a four song demo. Trying to attract like minded people, Prelude to Death caught the eye of Mike Fields (guitar). After a few months Mike was added as a new member, and quickly integrated into the band. Splattered Throat has since parted ways with their first singer and the open position was filled by Jon Ottersberg (vocals). Jon needs no introduction, as the lead vocals for legendary Boise band End Of all Flesh, his talent and knowledge has pushed Splattered Throat to new boundaries. Finally having a stable lineup, the writing process has begun. It has one intent, to pummel Boise to the ground! To be continued.
