Join Evanston In-School Music Association for an evening of live music, food, and a beautiful selection of silent auction items in the cool atmosphere of Five and Dime on Davis St.
Featuring performances by: * Taiko Legacy 13, demonstrating traditional Japanese drums * Halfstache, jazz/funk/rock. Members include young Evanston standouts: Leif Opland (piano), Michael Werner (trumpet), Tony Mest (drums), and Simon Ciaccio (bass).
Silent Auction includes: * Gretsch guitar painted by Evanston artist Fran Joy, specially commissioned by EISMA for this event. * Violin bow by Seman Violins * Percussion instruments by Geraldo de Oliveira ...and more art and music-related items!
Performances begin at 4:45, so arrive early to mingle, see auction items, and have some food and drinks. Tickets start at $40.00 and include food and one free drink. Tenn through college student age tickets are $12.00 Children 12 and under are Free! (Please limit to three children per paid adult)

Proceeds from this evening's event will go toward EISMA's unique, community-wide programming which brings professional music twice a year to over 7800 Evanston students in all of District 65's elementary and middle schools, Park School, Rice Education Center, Pope John XXIII and St. Athanasius.
