Iowa singer-songwriter Trish Bruxvoort Colligan will head the stage for a gorgeous afternoon of music and friendship.

The folky, acoustic music of Trish's latest solo album, Wild Acre, will be the featured fare, interspersed with stories, familiar favorite covers, and new tunes yet to be released.

Joining the stage will be Trish's husband, guitarist and musician Richard Bruxvoort Colligan. Together known as The River's Voice (www.riversvoice.com), the duo are partners in music and in life, and have been performing jointly for over two decades. With Trish on grand piano and vocals and Richard on guitars, percussion, and background vocals, the couple is widely beloved for their down-to-earth, animated interplay; thoughtful, provoking lyrics; and, perhaps most of all, their tight, lush harmonies.

Music that gets to the Heart of our Connection
Maybe you've noticed: The Election Day countdown is on and mud-slinging is all the rage. If we were the gambling sort, we'd bet a shinny penny that the rhetoric will rise as the weeks march on. Playing off FCNL's #LoveThyNeighbor campaign, we decided to throw a party--right in the midst of the hubbub, just days before the vote--to high-five friendship, remember our shared human connection, and celebrate the innovative (and often unsung) ways folks are building bridges and cultivating beauty in neighborhoods near and far. Think of this as your antidote to fear and polarization. The Campbell Steele Gallery in Marion--with its stunning works and welcoming space--will be a most perfect and inspiring setting.

#LoveThyNeighbor Campaign
#LoveThyNeighbor posters and pro photographers will be present to help you and a friend make a photo to share on #LoveThyNeighbor social media. See the #LoveThyNeighbor photo gallery for examples from around the country.

Sam Bruxvoort Colligan, Trish and Richard's 15-year-old son, will share a special video and story highlighting his recent bridge building experience in Washington, DC.

Campbell Steele's yummy menu of appetizers and drinks will be available for purchase.
Doors open at 3:30.

Advance ticket discount valid online through 12:00 PM on Sunday, October 23. After that, tickets may be purchased at the door for $20.
