Synopsis:
Harold Pinter is a giant of contemporary theater. His arresting and groundbreaking works have left a lasting influence on the evolution of the stage and screen while challenging and delighting audiences around the world. In The Dumb Waiter, one of Pinter's earliest plays, a pair of hit men, Ben and Gus, are on the job, monotonously whiling away the time waiting for their next assignment. An unwelcome series of peculiar demands begins to arrive from an extraordinary source and, as the partners' interior stresses and fears begin to emerge, the farce turns sinister. With a growing mixture of dread and hilarity, their world comes to a reckoning neither was expecting.
