For anyone looking to grow confidence and capacity as a communicator and public speaker, Authenticity, Communication and Public Speaking Through Theatre is for you! The time-tested tools used by performers in preparation for being in front of an audience are effective, fun to learn and create a platform from which an individual can have maximum connection and impact. Using theatrically-rooted principles and exercises, this collaborative workshop will have you feeling great AND building your communication and presentation toolkit. Appropriate for anyone motivated to get out from under his fear or elevate her game. Spend 3 hours with us = engage any audience with your authentic presence!

Facilitator Bio: Alexis Chamow, MFA & ACC, is a Coach, Consultant, Public Speaker, Program Facilitator and Education Director. Alexis has directed and facilitated education programs for major regional theatres in Southern California such as Pasadena Playhouse, Geffen Playhouse and Center Theatre Group since 2004. She is currently serving as a Coach-Consultant with her company, A of All Arts, here in Los Angeles; and with the Stand & Deliver Group, an international consultancy focusing on High Performance Communication and High-Performing Teams.
At Pasadena Playhouse, she facilitated professional development programs for teachers, business professionals, and institutions like Cal-Tech, IGNITE, and USC. Her theatre portfolio includes directing, acting, improvising, voiceover work and guest teaching at Universities and institutions all over the country. She specializes in using theatre and coaching techniques with non-performers to enhance communication and performance, and frequently works with professional women and teams who tend to sabotage themselves in the areas of collaboration, communication and public speaking. Alexis lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two daughters.
