Johnny Petillo's One Man Show: Doo Wop Days, Vegas Nights
Since his days singing on the street corners of Asbury Park, NJ, Johnny Petillo's powerful, soulful voice has been entertaining audiences of all sizes. After his hit record, Kiss Me Quick, topped the European charts, Johnny was a fixture in Danny and the Juniors, (At the Hop, Rock and Roll is Here to Stay), touring widely in Europe and across the United States. Singing lead with The Duprees (Have You Heard, You Belong to Me) and other million-selling bands, Johnny continued to refine his craft, leading to appearances on The Tonight Show, Late Night with David Letterman, Tony Orlando's musical, Juke Box Dreams, and Tony Orlando's concert tours. Spot-on impressions and stand-up comedy are well within Johnny's range, and have delighted crowds at venues as diverse as comedy clubs, cruise ships, corporate dates, and major sites like Madison Square Garden. Johnny was inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2003. He hosted his own radio show and the long-running Johnny Petillo Show on TV. As a singer, impressionist, and comedian, on his own or cast in a musical or concert production, Johnny Petillo is an all-around entertainer whose show-stopping appeal has brought audiences to their feet for years.
