A Winter Journey
This project, featuring local artists Justin Spenner, Jerrod Wendland, Jennifer Mack, and Jeff Korte will present Schubert's Winterreise in a multi-discipline format which will excavate the themes of Depression, Anxiety, and Schizophrenia that litter the poetry of the piece.
This will be a highly interactive (non-physical) production, which will erase the walls of the recital format in which this piece is tradtionally done. Very, very, limited seating will be provided, and most will be reserved for those with neccesity. We invite our audience to experience this piece from different angles, and decipher for themselves who is leading who along this desolate path that divides reality and insanity.
