Take a journey with us for An Evening in Italy: A Concert to Benefit the Spirit of Charity Foundation with the Orpheo group, a four-person Italian ensemble with Francesco Spedicato (Tenor), Eliseo Castrignano (Piano), Alessandro Gazzo (Accordion) and Matteo Spedicato (Percussions).
In gratitude for the care shown by UMC New Orleans staff during one of the performers' visits, the group offered to perform their show, "I am not a Tenor...", designed to bring the audience on an exhilarating adventure from Naples to Sicily to Salento, with a blend of delightful songs, colorful dialects, playful comedic acts, and a small literary narration. The show is ninety minutes of pure Italian entertainment narrated in English.
