7th Annual Taste of Temescal
Back for the  seventh time, the Taste of Temescal will take place on Tuesday, October 4th from 6:00- 8:30pm! Scintillate your palates with this culinary crawl, one of Temescal's most delectable fall happenings. Enjoy an evening of food, drink, live music and fabulous prizes (including gift certificates to your favorite local eatery),  along Telegraph Avenue from 43rd to 52nd Streets, Shattuck Ave and Temescal Alley. This is a green event too!

Proceeds will benefit the following organizations:

Emerson Elementary School PTO
Claremont Middle School
Women's Cancer Resource Center
Oakland Tech High School

You may choose which organization to directly support or leave the option open.

Get your tickets right away since we limit sales to 400.

The 2016 Menu:
Abesha Ethiopian: Ethiopian vegetarian specialties of lentils, cabbage & potato, & yellow corn
Asmara: Temtmo/Yemissir Watt - red lentil with berbere sauce, onions & garlic; Kik Alicha - yellow split peas in mild sauce; Ye-Gomen Alicha - mustard greens in Asmara's spices
Aunt Mary's Cafe: House smoked beef & pork meatloaf; rum sweet potato bars
Blackwater Station: Hush Puppies: blue cornmeal, sweet & spicy mustard aioli, specials on the bourbon peach tree punchbowl
Bowl'd BBQ: Glass noodles with tofu
Burma Superstar: Tea leaf salad & samusa soup
Casserole House Korean Restaurant: Vegetable pancake, kimchi
Curbside Creamery: Assortment of ice cream sandwiches - vanilla bean on gingersnaps, chocolate on peanut butter cookies, cinnamon on snickerdoodles, strawberry on vanilla shortbread (v, cashew)
Doña Tomas: Heirloom tomato gazpacho with cilantro oil
Juhu Beach Club: Bhel Salad: purple potato, fuji apple, pomegranate, puffed rice, peanuts, JBC chutneys
La Calaca Loca Taqueria: Made-to-order mini tacos - vegetarian, chicken, steak, & pork
Lanesplitter Pizza & Pub: Slices of East Bay favorites house pizzas
Marc 49 Bar: Roasted vegetable ratatouille
Pico Paco: Arroz con Pollo (chicken with rice)
Pizzaiolo: Meatballs al Pizzaiolo
Pyeong Chang Tofu House: Barbecue chicken, vegetarian soft tofu soup
Rosamunde: Wild boar sausage on a french roll, with mango chutney & sweet red peppers
Sacred Wheel Cheese Shop: Grilled cheese sandwiches & tomato soup
Tara's Organic Ice Cream: Ice cream in a cup - Vanilla Bean Sorbet, Chocolate, Spiced Pumpkin, Turkish Coffee, Coconut
The Cro Cafe: Delicious cold brew iced coffee
Urbano Latino: Brick-pressed chicken with housemade mole sauce, tequila lime rub chicken wings served with jalapeño ranch style dip and pork riblettes with chipotle BBQ glaze
Von's Oven Chicken: Korean fried chicken wings, thighs and drumsticks

You'll pick up your ticket at the will call booth, located in front of Kasper's at 4521 Telegraph Ave b/t 45th St & 46th St, the night of the event.

LIVE MUSIC will accompany your feast along the path.
Taste of Temescal 2016 will feature Transit of Venus, Beatbop, Oakland Tech Jazz Band and Redwing Bluegrass Band!
