100 Colors of Sarangi | Hindustani Music Concert by Harsh Narayan with Mike Lukshis | NJ
Come hear the sound of a hundred colors in this sarangi concert by Sri Harsh Narayan, grandson of the great Pandit Ram Narayan and son of Pandit Brij Narayan.

The Sarangi, a traditional bowed fiddle, is a very uncommon instrument to hear in America as it is seldom seen in accompaniment and even less so in featured performance. Pandit Ram Narayan is credited by experts worldwide for bringing the sarangi to the forefront of Indian Classical Music as a solo instrument of the highest order. It the great fortune of Harsh Narayan that he has been studying with his grandfather since the age of six, and it is equally fortunate for Taalim School to be able to present such a rare and talented performer.

In his first US tour, Harsh Narayan will share the music of a lineage of performers. He will be accompanied by Mike Lukshis of the Taalim School of Indian Music on tabla.
