Cacoethes Co. presents: "Collapse"
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable.
Cacoethes Co. strives to make films that risk something, whether that be physically, technically, or financially. "Collapse" is the inaugural film of this company, and it was originally devised as a ten-minute play.
"Collapse" revolves around five friends who go location scouting for a film they are working on, but the trip quickly turn dark once they become trapped in a cave for days with no way out and tensions running high. Filmed at Bentley's Cavern in Berlin, NY, the entire short film was shot completely with headlamps, further adding to the authenticity of the experience.
