"The Discarded" is a collection of musicians based in Southern Idaho. Originally formed in late 2011 by guitarist LaMont Turner and Bassist Jerome Bugni. The mission was to create music that neither followed, nor obeyed pre-established rules in the metal genre. The band-name plays on the notion of "one's trash is another's treasure". Our lineup took a while to complete, but with the addition of drummer, Ryan Anderson, keyboardist and co-guitarist, Aaron Crandall, and finally with a talented vocalist and lyricist, Kevin Goff, "The Discarded" was complete. Our sound has been described as "Heavy Melodic, with a mix of old and new school. We hope you dig the music.
