Greetings to All,
I am very happy to announce our next community dance event. It is the:
New Moon - Plant Spirit Medicine - Community Ecstatic Dance
This is a September Harvest Moon New Moon - Community Dance. This event will also be a collaboration with my good friend Bloom Post who is an Asheville Local Medicine Woman / Author / Teacher / Plant Shaman.
Schedule for the evening-
Doors Open at 6:30pm
Circle Up at 7:00pm Sharp!
Music & Dance 8:15 - 9:30ish
Community Chill time for 20 min or so....
Break down and clean up. Down the road.
We will close the doors promptly @ 7pm and Bloom will begin the Plant Spirit Ceremony to enhance the dance experience.
In sacred circle, we will embark on a shamanic journey as Bloom sings icaros, sacred plant medicine songs, to invite and welcome the plant spirit medicine teachers and guides to be with us. Working with these energies empowers the flow of healing energy through all present. Each person will be invited to connect with their Spirit Guides and plant teachers to receive guidance and gifts. Those who would like to work with the medicine of organic flower essences will be able to work with Floricita Medicina Spirit Essences which are made locally by Bloom.
This Plant Spirit Ceremony gracefully flows the group into dance as the AED Ensemble plays a Live Musician Ecstatic Dance for 75min to 90min. We will then close the evening and have some Community Chill Time on the dance floor.
If you have never been to the Ouroboros Movement Studio, it is across the street from the big new Ingles out on New Leicester Hwy. That's exactly 3.2 miles from Golds Gym on Patton or 6 mins. If you live in West Asheville, this studio is closer to Golds Gym than the Asheville Yoga Center is. It has a new bamboo dance floor that is very sweet and will be immaculate and clean for your dancing pleasure.
