On September 18th, 2016, HOT 103.1 FM (hot103.fm) will host the HOT 103.1 Tamale Festival at Young Park in Las Cruces. The HOT 103.1 Tamales Festival is the premier Mexican Independence Day Celebration in Las Cruces!

Las Cruces get ready for the first ever Hot 103.1 Mexican Independence Day Celebration! Sunday September 18th 2016 at Young Park. Gates open at 10am through 6pm!

A full day of Folkloric Dancers, Los Nino's Playgrounds, Mariachis, LIVE Music, HOT 103.1 DJ's, Beers, Tequila and TAMALES! Lots and lots of Tamales!!!!

Who makes the best Tamale in Las Cruces? $1,000 cash prize to the winner of best homemade Tamale! Also, you will decide who is the top Tamale Restaurant in Las Cruces!!!

Las Cruces, bring your Family out and get ready to Celebrate Mexican Independence Day. 2016!

Tickets are two for $5 before the festival and $5 each the day of! Get your tickets early!

The Hot 103.1 Tamale Festival includes a Mexican History Area, Los Niños Playground and a main stage featuring Mariachi Bands and Folkorico Dancers. But the obvious focus for the event will be the Tamales contest on Tamales Row to include categories for non-commercial, commercial and event sponsors.
