The show Lullaby. A Story about Maria Tanase" pays homage to the most famous Romanian singer, often compared to Edith Piaf. Maria Tanase represented Romania at the World's Fair in Paris in 1937 and New York in 1939 where her success attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors. Her legacy of uniting cultures is celebrated by director Carmen Lidia Vidu, the most accomplished Romanian multimedia artist in a show that combines life performance voice and piano with multimedia projection.
