The East Bay Asian Local Development Corporation's 41st Annual Gala Celebration will take place on October 20th, 2016, at the historic Claremont Hotel. While our 40th anniversary afforded us a chance to look back at our roots, this year looks towards the future, and all that it may hold.
The celebration starts at 6pm with a reception, which will move us into dinner at 7pm. This year's event honors the important work of the Asian Pacific Environmental Network, The San Francisco Foundation, and Shirley Chung. The program will feature poetry from Oakland Youth Poet Laureate Stephanie Yun, music from the Oakland School of the Arts, and remarks from our leadership about our organizational vision.
