Valley Arts Fall Music Workshop
Valley Arts will present a Fall Music Workshop for students 12 to 17 years of age on Thursday, Oct. 6, 2016. A limited number of students will have an opportunity to participate in two (2) private group sessions conducted with individual coaches.
Full Event Time: from 2:00 pm to 4:45 pm
Light refreshments after event.
Pre-register online and Will Call on the day of event. No fees will be collected on the day of the workshop!

Session I - ABCs of Basic songwriting will be conducted by singer/ songwriter from Huntsville Emma Klein. She began her songwriting at the age of 13 and has since written over 80 songs. Emma began composing songs at the age of 11. She plays acoustic guitar and has performed regularly at songwriters rounds around Nashville and the Tennessee Valley. Session II - Vocal Aerobics will be conducted by professional recording artist and vocal coach Sonya Smith Merritt, who for eight years has used her vocal aerobics techniques in private training on piano and vocal training to produce successful singing vocalists. Sonya has traveled as a military wife around the world, and haf an opportunity to perform in Japan.
