You are invited to an exclusive preview of the fourth iteration of the Museum's biennial series, BAM Biennial 2016: Metalmorphosis. Mix and mingle with artists and curators while enjoying music and libations. Don't miss the John and Joyce Price Award of Excellence presentation at 6:30pm!

Since 2010, the BAM Biennial has brought the work of established and emerging Northwest artists, craftspeople, and designers to the public eye. BAM Biennial 2016: Metalmorphosis showcases the versatile medium of metal, from the precious to the prosaic. Metal has captivated makers and thinkers alike for over 10,000 years, inviting thoughts on transformation and attempts to unlock the secrets of the physical and metaphysical realms. BAM received a record-breaking 330 applications for this year's bienniala testament to the creative potential of this elemental materialand from this talented and vast pool of applicants, 49 Northwest artists were selected to participate:
