Biodynamic Conference 2016
September 23-26
Please join us to celebrate and explore the heart and soul of agriculture.
Enjoy the company of other gardeners, farmers, homesteaders, and good-life-enthusiasts for a weekend of good food, excellent workshops, farm tours, and fun.
This years theme is The Four Kingdoms: Animal, Vegetable, Mineral, and Human.
Weekend workshops will explore examples of the kingdoms as they are expressed on a farm, as well as how we, as growers, can help create a four part harmony.
Each year we welcome back old friends and look forward to greeting new ones. It is a special delight to be hosting our long time compatriots Hugh Lovel and Shabari Bird for the weekend. As always, there will be both hands-on activities and in-depth theoretical discussion of biodynamics, gardening, homesteading, bee-keeping, pastures, local food, health, and more.
Besides all of that, we hope you will enjoy some quality time on the farm and feel the difference wholesome food and good atmosphere makes in your body and mind. This festival attracts a wide array of people with gifts to share, and ample time is allowed for one-on-one discussion with workshop leaders, and one another, throughout the weekend. We gather to learn, to share, to inspire each other, and to celebrate the passage of another growing season on the good earth.
Your conference fee gets you: all of your home-grown, home-cooked, biodynamic, organic meals and beverages throughout the weekend, admittance to all workshops and lectures, and a place to camp.
No one will be turned away for financial reasons.
Children, as always, are free.
