The 5th Annual San Antonio Burlesque Festival will be taking place at the historic Woodlawn Theatre! We are excited to bring you such amazing and talented performers from all over the world, for two nights of burlesque, sideshow and classes! Classes are open to the public!

The Friday Night Teaser Showcase will also feature two stunning farewell performances by our current reigning Queen and King of San Antonio Burlesque Chola Magnolia and JD Hickcock! This chica sabrosita and this ruggedly handsome man have been traveling across Texas and beyond representing our titles with pride! We are excited to see who will be crowned next, but not before these two set the stage on fire one last time!

Our next fabulous performer headlining the Friday Night Teaser Showcase brought the house own as a headliner for our first annual San Antonio Burlesque Festival! We are absolutely thrilled to welcome back the one and only Perle Noire the Mahogany Queen of Burlesque!

Perle has performed her signature blend of sultry, athletic and captivating dance in numerous venues throughout the world including the Crowne Casino in Melbourne, The Waltz in Tokyo, Teatro Circo in Madrid and the Koko in London. She has also graced stages in the Bahamas, Milan, Helsinki, Auckland, New York and Los Angeles. Drawing inspiration from the great Josephine Baker, Perle is also a multi-talented business woman who constantly challenges herself with new ventures including an upcoming line of cosmetics and a series of performance/dance classes known as Perlesque.

Fans across the globe clamor for the chance to see this burlesque star light up the stage. Perle is also a gifted instructor and her workshops sell out in a matter of hours. A show with Perle Noire in its lineup is sure to entertain and is not to be missed.

Every year our lives are changed by a fabulous performance by a Legend who was a part of our burlesque history. This year will be no different! We are excited to announce that this year, our Burlesque Legend who will perform in the Friday Night Teaser Showcase will be "Las Vegas' Only Nude Magician" Dusty Summers!

Dusty Summers, was a dancer, magician, and emcee for twenty-four years featuring in nightclubs and theatres across the U.S. and Canada. She operated her own clubs in San Angelo, and Grand Prairie, Texas. Moving back to Las Vegas in 1991, she became a dealer and a pit boss at Circus Circus retiring in 2005. Returning to the stage in 2006 for the first time in twenty-five years, she is recognized as a Legend of Burlesque by the Burlesque Hall of Fame. Since then, she has continued to perform burlesque and magic across the country and locally. She is also the author of The Lady Is A Stripper/Memoirs of Las Vegas Only Nude Magician, The Golden G-String, and The Magical World of Burlesque. Dusty was a featured performer in Vegas Nocturne at the Cosmopolitan in 2014, which closed in July after a 25 week run. She recently was inducted into the Entertainers Hall of Fame in Las Vegas and was also named to the List in Vegas magazines annual issue. And this year, she emceed The Kitten and Kat of the Year burlesque competition in Canberra, Australia.
