Maguire Voice Senior Musical Showcase 2016
Come one, come all to the first ever senior musical showcase of Maguire Voice students! Kim Maguire will present 8 outstanding young artists that will bring you an evening of top-notch vocal music. These artists will either be seniors in high school next year, or are graduating seniors this year.
Please come and support these gifted young artists! These high school seniors and seniors-to-be have worked hard to hone their craft and they have some amazing musical gifts to bring to the stage in both the musical theatre and pop genres.
We will present to you small sets of our favorite tunes. Some will accompany themselves on guitar, piano or ukulele. One song is a gorgeous a cappella piece, others will be accompanied by Kim. You will hear some uniquely arranged covers by current pop artists, as well as some musical theater gems.
We also have 2 guest artists joining us, one younger and one older. The younger guest artist is Ryan Porter, younger brother to Alli. Ryan is a fantastic contemporary singer. Get ready for some really exciting sounds from him! Our older special guest artist is Natalee Merrill who just graduated from Ithaca College with a degree in musical theatre. She has played many lead and supporting roles, and is a fabulous performer. I am honored to welcome both of these fantastic artists.
