2016 NXNW Ping Pong Tournament
*Update 8/8/2016: After the early bird tickets are done, everyone who registers will receive a free 1-Visit Pass to Pong Club. If you have already registered and convince another team to register, we will also credit your team a 1-Visit Pass. Just contact us for the details! Also, anyone who registers for the tournament can purchase a Pong Club T-Shirt for $5 upon their next Pong Club visit!

NXNW Restaurant and Brewery and Pong Club present the first ever NXNW Ping Pong Tournament! Come join us at the NXNW Slaughter Lane location on Monday August 15th for food, drinks, and some great ping pong action!

We are playing a 4-player-team tournament with a fun format thats sure to keep your eyes on the ball! Company and individual teams can be registered in advance. Individual players will be formed into teams automatically.

NOTE: When you sign up, you can indicate your team name. If you have an incomplete team we will help fill in with individuals who signed up without a team!

Schedule
- Monday August 15th 2016 with party from 5:00-10:00pm.
- Ping Pong warm-up starts at 5:00pm.
- Competition starts at 6:30pm!

Tournament Format

We are playing a 4-player-team tournament with a fun format thats sure to keep your eyes on the ball! Company and individual teams can be registered in advance. Individual players will be formed into teams automatically.

Match Rules:

Both teams line up their players behind the table, put their game faces on, and pick a starting player.

After deciding who goes first (pick a hand) the first two players on each team will play out one point.

The player wholost the point moves to the back of their team line and the next teammate comes up and has the serve.

If one player wins 3 points in a row, that player also moves to the back of the team line and the opponents have the serve.

Matches will go best 2-out-of-3 gamesto 11 points.

Shouting support for your teammates is strongly encouraged!

Official serve rules apply. If your opponent has an illegal serve then you may call a point re-do up to 3 times until it is corrected. Just give your opponent a heads-up as to why the serve was an issue. After that, every illegal serve is a lost point for the server

Round robin to single-elimination is planned but format may be modified slightly depending on # of players registered.

White JOOLA 40+ 3-Star Super-P Balls.
Loaner Paddles will be available courtesy of Pong Club but if youve got one bring it!
