The Center for MultiCultural Health has hosted Emerald City Black Pride (ECBP) events since 2011 as an initiative to foster pride and strengthen the sense of community among LGBTQ people of color with a focus on African-Americans. It is a reflection and celebration of our diversity, voice and the values of our community.

This year we are putting on an inaugural ECBP Party with the Northwest African American Museum. The purpose of the party is to look back on the past year to not only remember our tragedies but also celebrate our victories. To celebrate that we as LGBTQ people of color have survived against all odds.

The next day we have our annual Family BBQ (https://www.facebook.com/events/1038134056266688/)

While ECBP is focused on the African-American LGBTQ community we welcome and encourage other people of color and white allies to come and celebrate with us!!

If you can't make it please donate! We would love any support you can give!
Donate at gofund.me/ecbp2016

All proceeds from these donations will be used for general operation and development expenses needed to support Emerald City Black Pride productions and make a series of events to celebrate African-American queer culture and support HIV education, testing and adherence.
