NOSEJOB, A New Comedy

Eleanor Shapiro, a brilliant weathercaster, is left jobless after a joke is made on live TV about her ethnic nose. On a frenzied quest to resurrect her career and restore her self-esteem, she seeks a nosejob from Robert, a plastic surgeon. But Robert balks at destroying what he finds beautiful. Though determined to cash in her savings to finance a nosejob and clone herself after her fashion-model roommate, Eleanor finds herself trapped when her cabdriver father pleads for her help to pay off his debt to the mob. Secrets and discoveries abound as Eleanor navigates through the harsh Chicago winter without a job.

With humor and pathos, NOSEJOB skewers the superficial value society places on perfection and pedigree.
