Frost & Fire: A Scottish Christmas Celebration
Baroque violinist and fiddler David Greenberg joins Musica Pacifica for an energetic holiday program of 18th-century Scottish Baroque music. With Cape Breton's driving strathspeys and reels, soulful airs and merry jigs, alongside compositions of Scottish composers and Baroque icons, Frost and Fire is a toe-tapping program blurring the boundaries of Folk and Classical music, and is a perfect concert to help the the whole family welcome in the Christmas season.
