"Two Saturdays in June" a play by Sydney Flynn, Co-Directed by Jennifer Scott & Sheldon Metz
Gloria Woodward's life didn't turn out the way she wanted it to. She never made it to Broadway as a singing star, so she transferred her ambitions to her talented older daughter, Darla who died in automobile accident when she was a senior in high school before she was able to achieve the greatness her mother had planned for her.
Twenty-five years later, Gloria still lives in a small town in Arkansas, where she plays piano and sings for the guests at the local hotel. Every June she's visited by her younger daughter, Denise, who teaches at a school overseas. this June things don't go as usual, though, because old memories surface, past grudges are revisited, and mother and daughter confront their relationship as they never have before.
