Bowles Hall Residential College Grand Re-Opening
The Bowles Hall Alumni Association and The Bowles Hall Foundation cordially invites you to attend the Bowles Hall Residential College Grand Re-Opening on August 27, 2016. This momentous celebration culminates the 11-year journey of nearly 1,000 alumni and special friends who dared to dream an impossible dream: a privately-funded, $42 million restoration of Bowles Hall, a National Historic Landmark and one of the crown jewels of the UC Berkeley campus.
The days agenda includes Hall tours, a ribbon-cutting, a special reception and dinner, and comments from those who turned a vision into a reality. Attendees will be joined by fellow alums, the Staff of the Bowles Hall Residential College, Chancellor Nicholas Dirks, other University dignitaries, and our many special friends. Youll also meet and interact with the newest class of Bowles Hall Residential College members, an amazing group of undergraduates who will lead our Hall into the 21st Century.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime event that it is not to missed. Please join us to relive your memories and help make new ones!

Bowles Hall Residential College Re-Opening
(Ceremony to be held on Maxwell Field)
8:30 AM to 12:30 PM
FREE tours of the Hall guided by alumni and new student members.
1:00 PM to 3:30 PM
Dedication Ceremony. Program includes keynote speaker Bowles Hall Foundation President Bob Sayles and several other special contributors.
3:30 PM to 5:00 PM
Hosted Grand Re-Opening Reception. Silent Auction to begin.
5:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Gala Dinner Program includes keynote speaker UCB Chancellor Nicholas Dirks.
6:00 PM to 7:30 PM
Gala Dinner.
7:30 PM- 8:00PM
Closing remarks and announcement of auction winners.
Note: Ticket revenue helps underwrite but does not cover the events expenses. Additional donations are welcomed and much appreciated.
PARKING: Limited parking will be available in the upper lot of the Maxwell Field Parking Structure at $30/car. Carpooling is encouraged.
